This village, known for its Rock paintings which are believed to be more than 17,000 years old, lies in the Veerpura Range. This trail of trekking near Bhopal goes through a beautiful patch of forest that starts from the village itself.
Certain experts believe that these paintings that the trail leads to are very similar to the paintings at Bhimbetka. The traditional hunting tribes, Bhil and Bhilala live in this village and currently focus on agriculture.
