The AlUla Arts Festival is one of the most anticipated festivals in AlUla Moments, and will bring together various displays and exhibitions by many different artists to celebrate this town’s legacy at a cultural center.

The festival has a theme of “Art of Our Time,” and will organize an exhibition of contemporary art by some of the best artists in Saudi. This festival will run from February 13, 2022 to February 26, 2022.

Amongst the best festivals in AlUla Moments is the AlUla Skies, which will offer visitors and tourists some of the best bird’s eye views of the amazing geological landscapes of this region, including its ancient heritage sites, monuments and volcanic plains. From aerial views of Hegra from a hot air balloon, and vistas of the oasis from a vintage plane, to a helicopter ride over the Madakheel canyons, this festival will have it all.

To add to the excitement, the festival will also organize other events, such as a stargazing tour and a musical performance under the twinkling night sky. The AlUla Skies event will run from February 27, 2022 to March 12, 2022.

It is in the AlUla Wellness Festival where tourists and locals will be able to experience all things wellness-related. In addition to a full range of experiences related to the mind, body and soul, such as yoga, mindfulness practice and meditation at the Five Senses Sanctuary, to an energy-filled Eco-Trail, and art installations using space, light and sound, this festival will have it all. You can attend the AlUla Wellness Festival from March 17, 2022 to March 27, 2022.

Winter at Tantora was the very first music and arts festival that was organized in Saudi, and with AlUla Moments, it returns to its home even better than before. Beginning with a Candlelit Symphonic Concert at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra, followed by many archeology and cultural workshops as well as live immersion shows and concerts, this festival will be a sight to behold.

Other events in the festival include a new haute couture horse fashion event, the Ikmah Fashion Calvary, as well as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Race and the AlUla Desert Polo Competition.

Additionally, there will also be a Citrus Festival to highlight the produce of the region, along with the Harrat Observation Desk where visitors will be able to view the beautiful sunrise and sunset. The Winter at Tantora festival will run from December 21, 2021 to February 12, 2022.

AlUla Moments will also host the AlUla Old Town event, which will consist of re-enactment of historical shows that are guaranteed to transport you to the times gone by. The event will also bring back age-old fables and folktales to life in a newer way. You can attend the shows of the AlUla Old Town between December 21, 2021 and March 31, 2022.

Also known as the Via Ferrata Experience, this event will take visitors on a journey through the majestic desert canyons in AlUla, while passing through the different terrains consisting of varied climbing points, amazing bridges as well as suspended obstacles.

This is a relatively newer addition to AlUla Moments, and is said to challenge the adventurer in you, and this event will last from November 22, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

When going to AlUla Moments, one of the best activities that you can indulge in is a stargazing experience at Gharameel. Led by a guide, it is in this activity where you will find yourself surrounded by the mystical rock formations of Gharameel, while you soak in some of the most unparalleled and stunning views of the starry night sky.

Another one of the best activities that you can enjoy in AlUla Moments is a day tour of Hegra in a vintage Land Rover. This tour will take you through some of the best attractions in Saudi’s very first UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra, including the Hijaz Railway and carved tombs through AlUla, to the secret ceremonial chambers, the rock outcrop of Jabal Ithlib and other places of interest.

One of the best adventure activities that you can do on your visit to AlUla Moments is the Ridge Walk Hike, which is an experience like no other, and will offer you a greater perspective of this desert region. The 4-kilometer long hike will be guided by an expert and will take visitors all the way to a vantage point that overlooks the Wadi AlUla.

Your AlUla Moments experience will remain incomplete without indulging in the AlUla Old Town Tour, which offers visitors a glimpse into the town’s rich history, telling them the stories of where the travelers, pilgrims and settlers congregated through the ages.
