Rani Sati Temple

Dating back to around 400 years, the Rani Sati Temple is a very famous hindu pilgrimage and attracts flocks of crowds everyday. The sounds of hymns being played here can be heard from far away and in the morning, many locals visit here to offer prayers.

Finding its name in one of the most sacred places to visit in Jhunjhunu, this temple lies on the hills of Jhunjhunu and overlooks the whole town. In the evening, people visit here to enjoy a beautiful sunset while seeking blessings in the evening aarti.

Khetri Mahal

Famous in the name of wind palace, the Khetri Mahal finds its name in the list of some of the most famous places to visit in Jhunjhunu. Famous in the name of Wind Palace, this fort has its roots seeped back into the 1700s when its foundation was laid.

Originally made as a barrier around the whole city, the walls of the palace standed guard to save the city from enemy attack. Now a famous tourist spot, the Khetri Mahal exhibits beautiful carvings on marbles and offers various backdrops to click some eye-catching pictures.

The Khemi Sati Temple

Exhibiting intrinsic architecture and loaded with the most pious vibes, the Khemi Sati Temple is one of the very famous places to visit in Jhunjhunu. The temple has a beautiful pinkish architecture surrounded by manicured lawns where one sit sit for a while and enjoys the positive aura of the location.

Badalgarh Fort

Built by Nawab Fazi Khan, this fort dates back to the seventeenth century when royals used to rest in its cozy rooms. Sone Chandi Ki Haveli

Sona chandi meaning gold and silver are the best description this haveli can ever have. Staying true to its name, various structures of this palace were formerly made using gold and silver fragments. The Haveli used to be a go to spot for the royals where they would spend their free time indulging in games, drinks and dance shows.

It is said that the kind has a specific room made where he would place all the gold and silver which he would give to the dancers after the performances. Now, the location is a tourist attraction and does not contain any such valuable item.

Modi And Tibrewal Haveli

Located in the main market of Jhunjhunu, the Modi and Tibrewal Haveli are the two well preserved havelis exhibiting ancient architecture dating back to several hundred years.

One of the most luxurious owned properties, thes havelis have been taken care of and all the interior, architecture, lifestyle and beauty is the same as it used to be back then. The Dundlod Fort

Often considered as Shekhawati’s most beautiful and elegant step well, the Mertani Baori dates back to several hundred years. Originally used for bathing and washing purposes, this place was specifically reserved for the ladies.

Having various flights of steps which descend through arches, this stepwell is a very famous tourist attraction. In the evening, youngsters come here to chill for a while and enjoy a peaceful setting.

Bihari Ji Temple

Famous for its antique paintings and murals, the Bihari Ji Temple is home to many sculptures and carvings of Hindu gods dating back to hundreds of years. Imagine living in a Royal palace as a Royal member. Now you wanna live that, don't you? That was what I felt. And then I heard about this great offer by Thrillophilia and there was no way I could say no to this. The place was wow! The food was good too. But what I liked the most was the behavior of the staff. They were super attentive and eager to help. It was a wonderful experience.

The overall stay was good but I would like to share my food experience. While my entire group just loves how spicy Rajasthani food is, I, on the other hand, find it very health deterioting. Apart from the break which was eggs and toast the other meals were a bit too spicy.
