Overview

Rajasthan is the state of the Royals, and that shows in their way of life, and in their architecture. Home to a great many forts and palaces of olden times, it would be really great to get to stay in one as well. This package grants you access to a royal stay in the Surajgarh Fort in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan.

Factual Information:

Surajgarh Fort – literally meaning ‘The castle of the Sun’ is a fortified palace, built in the 18th century, and located in the charming heritage township called Surajgarh, in Shekhawati region - about 15 kilometres from Pilani city, in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. Built in the year 1778 by Thakur Suraj Mal Singh of Bissau will seamlessly link you with its 237-year rich heritage and its many generations of multicultural and multi-ethnic past. This 4-acre sprawling fort is being lovingly restored to give the guests an experience of living like a Maharaja (emperor). Surajgarh derived its name from the fort itself.

Surajgarh Fort has two room categories, the Deluxe and the Suites. The Deluxe Rooms are situated in the Raja Mahal, while the Suites are in the Rani Mahal.

And then I heard about this great offer by Thrillophilia and there was no way I could say no to this. The place was wow! The food was good too. But what I liked the most was the behavior of the staff. They were super attentive and eager to help. It was a wonderful experience.
