The United Arab Emirates is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, some of the best of which are located in Abu Dhabi. 1. Kai Beach

A public beach located on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi and managed by the Saadiyat Beach Club; Kai Beach is ranked as one of the most desirable beach locations in all of the United Arab Emirates. Boasting of pristine turquoise waters and fine white sands, this beach also has all the necessary amenities that you would require on your day out

From sun loungers and changing rooms, to showers as well as food and drink kiosks, you can find it all in Kai Beach. While exploring Abu Dhabi’s Pristine Beaches, Kai beach should not be missed out on  as it is also a great place to indulge in water sports like jet skiing or swimming.

2. Saadiyat Beach Club

Saadiyat Beach Club is a private beach club located on Saadiyat Island, ranked amongst the very best in Abu Dhabi with a Blue-Flag certification. The beach club offers stunning sunset views of  the Arabian Gulf, and is home to private beach cabanas, an infinity pool, a spa, a gym, and a variety of dining options. Guests can also enjoy water sports such as stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking. 

Saadiyat Beach Club is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The club’s idyllic setting makes it one of the most pristine beaches in Abu Dhabi to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sun set over the Arabian Gulf. 3. Corniche Beach

One of the most pristine beaches to visit in Abu Dhabi is the Corniche Beach. This is a well-maintained Blue Flag public beach, complete with turquoise waters of the sea, swaying palm trees as well as panoramic views of Lulu Island. Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, the Corniche Beach houses facilities like seaside boardwalk, landscaped gardens, pathways to walk and cycle as well as separate play areas for children. 

The beach sprawls across 2 kilometres and is divided into three main sections, for solo travellers, large groups, for those looking to relax as well as for those traveling with families. This beach in Abu Dhabi island also has showers, changing rooms and cabanas, in addition to numerous cafes and restaurants. You can access the sports facilities available on the beach like volleyball courts, football pitches and playing fields or rent a speedboat, go swimming or snorkelling if you are more adventurous.

4. Yas Beach

Located in Abu Dhabi’s famous Yas Island is the spectacular Yas Beach, or the famous “beach playground”. Tucked on the southern shores of the island, Yas Beach offers stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. With soft white sands and cool blue waters of the Gulf, this tranquil Abu Dhabi beach also boasts of beautiful cabanas, loungers as well as numerous food kiosks and high-end restaurants. 

The beach also has a wide range of facilities including a swimming pool, and a separate pool area for children, as well as rentals where you can rent kayaks and jet skis for an adventure on the sea waters.

5. Al Bateen Beach

Located in the quieter parts of the city, the secluded and unspoilt Al Bateen Beach is ranked amongst the most beautiful Blue Flag beaches in Abu Dhabi. Spread across 800 metres, the beach overlooks the picturesque Hudayriyat Island and Hudayriayat Bridge, and is a great place to enjoy a day out with your friends and family including children especially as the beach is kept safe with lifeguards and security.

This golden sands beach has no entrance fees and facilities such as gazebos, sun loungers and day beds. You can also indulge in beach sports and activities like football, tennis and volleyball in Al Bateen Beach, in addition to renting a paddleboard or kayak for an adventure out on sea.

6. Zaya Nurai Island

8. Hudayriyat Mar Vista Beach
