Victoria Art Gallery Overview

Victoria Art Gallery is a public art museum in Bath where you can find a diverse collection of artworks and paintings. The museum features about 1500 different artefacts like the 17th century British oil paintings, sculptures, glassware and decorative items. The gallery was opened in 1900 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee.

The museum was initially famous for portrait painting in the 18th century but later became renowned for the innovative works done by the artists at Bath Academy of Art.
