SYMPHONY HALL

Symphony Hall is one of the biggest concert halls in Birmingham that can seat at least 2,262 people. The Queen of England, officially inaugurated the place in 1991and from that time this place has been one of the major places to visit in Birmingham. The place hosts around 300 events annually and is also known for its eye-catching interiors.

The Symphony hall hosts hundreds of performances every year. So, if you happen to reach the place around that time, you can catch up on a few shows. The seats get booked really quickly, so you have to make advance bookings. The hall does not have any sophisticated dress code like the other halls in Birmingham. The performances generally last two hours, so you have to stay put for that time, to enjoy all the music.

If you want to have the best experience in terms of sound, you have to sit a bit off-centre from the orchestra, at least 2/3rd rows away from the back. It is also modelled on the shoebox shape. The acoustics can be heard from every seat. So, you can enjoy the music, or a pin-drop as well, from anywhere in the hall.
