NATIONAL SEA LIFE CENTRE

The National Sea Life Centre, is one of the UK’s only 360-degree Ocean Tunnels, per se. You can meet many marine creatures upfront and personal, at the facility. You can call it one of the best tourist places in Birmingham for kids. There are penguins, jelly fishes, and sea otters waiting to meet you there.

The National Sealife Centre lets you get close to the marine creatures, which are hard to find elsewhere in England. Moreover, you should check out the mangrove swamp zone, which is a special zone, where you can meet the horseshoe crabs. There are many Archer Fishes in the centre. It is a multi-attraction zone that helps you to enjoy the perfect family day out. As you step into the facility, you will be stepping on the pathway to discovery.

You can also learn about the special conservation efforts at the place from the several conservation projects being held in-house. Additionally, the seahorse breeding program is also quite popular. Many of the newly reared horses are visible in the tank, by the visitors. Amongst the other marine creatures, you will also find Pacific Giant Octopuses, as it frolics in its habitat. The National Sea Life Centre is already a subject of many documentaries in the UK.
