This aquarium is located between the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Jin Mao Tower in the Pudong District. It has the longest submarine viewing tunnel in the world making it one of the most popular tourist places in Shanghai.
You can explore the pyramid-shaped buildings of the museum and a huge exhibition area with a gift shop and an excellent restaurant. It is the only aquarium in the world having a China Zone, housing the aquatic organisms and their ecology of Yangtze valley, and also exhibiting some of China’s endangered aquatic species.
