By Train: You can take the train and alight at Puerta Jerez station which is 2km from the site and can be easily covered walking.
By Bus: You can also take the bus to reach the palace from various parts of the city. You have to get off either at the Estacion Prado, Menendez Pelayo, Puerta Jerez or Prado San Sebastian stops.

The best time of the day to visit the Royal Alcázar of Seville is in the morning hours before 11 AM or in the evening after 3 PM. This way you can not only avoid the humidity and sweltering heat of the afternoon but also the big tour groups.

The square shaped room has walls that feature some of the most awe-inspiring work showcasing Islamic motifs. It was constructed in the 14 th century and is the oldest Mudéjar building in the Royal Alcázar. The ceiling comprises complex latticework that is reminiscent of an Islamic tomb.
