Potsdamer Platz is a famous shopping area with a nightlife district located in West Berlin. One of the top attractions in the city, the square was completely damaged during the second world war. The Potsdamer Platz was restored back to its original form after the fall of the Berlin wall. The area was also known to be one of the most important places for commercial activity in the 19th century.
