The Partition Museum is located in the city of Amritsar and is one of the most popular places to visit in Amritsar. The museum aims at keeping the various important documents, story materials and other things related to the partition of India and Pakistan.
The primary reason to establish this museum was to remember those who were affected by the India-Pakistan partition. The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust of the United Kingdom helped the Punjab Government to establish the museum.
