PARQUE DE MARIA LUISA

Famously known as María Luisa, Parque de María Luisa is a public garden that stretches from Seville's city center to the Guadalquivir River. Initially, this park was an integral part of the famous San Telmo palace garden; however, later, it was given to Seville city with the sole purpose of developing a larger garden for the public.

A glorious park located in the heart of Seville, Parque de María Luisa, also known as María Luisa Park, is a 19th-century park that is an ideal space if you're looking for solace. This historic site was once the estate of the famous Palacio de San Telmo; however, it underwent construction intending to build a larger park.

The place features landscaped gardens, soaring trees, fountains, and duck ponds, which build a soothing atmosphere. The structure is decorated with tile pictures showcasing certain scenes from the Spanish province.

On your visit to this place, you can go on the row boats to explore the plaza's canal. This ride lasts for 36 minutes for €6. On the park's premises, there are some excellent Roman statues and sculptures which belong to Itálica's archaeological site located on the outskirts of Seville.
