Towering 1,772 feet (540 meters) over Moscow’s All-Russian Exhibition Center (VDNK), the Ostankino TV Tower is one of the tallest structures in Europe.
It was designed by Nikolai Nikitin and was erected in 1967 to mark the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution and named after the Ostankino district of Moscow. Tourists admire the incredible views of Moscow from the glass-floored observation deck, located at the dizzying height of 337 metres.
