Nigeen Lake, located in the heart of Srinagar, Kashmir, is a stunning freshwater lake that lies to the west of Dal Lake. How To Reach Nigeen Lake

By Road:

• By Car: Nigeen Lake is about 6.5 km from the city centre of Srinagar, which can be easily accessed by car. You can hire a taxi or take a private car to reach the lake in around 20 minutes.
• By Bus: Srinagar's public buses operate routes to various parts of the city, and Nigeen Lake is well-connected by local transportation. Bus services from Dal Lake or the city centre can take you to the lake in 30 minutes.

By Water: Shikara rides are a popular way to travel on Nigeen Lake, especially if you're staying on a houseboat. You can hire a shikara from Dal Lake and reach Nigeen Lake in 1-2 hours via the waterways.

Other Modes: The lake is accessible by foot from the main road. If you're staying nearby or visiting the Nigeen Club, it’s a pleasant 5-6 minute walk to the lake’s edge.
