New Lanark is an 18th-century mill village that was inscribed in 2001 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been restored beautifully as a living community and is considered one of the best places to see in Scotland. The village still contains the worker's buildings and the original mill of Robert Owen.
If you're visiting New Lanark, you shouldn't miss out on the village church, school classroom, village store, mechanics workshop, water houses, engine house, and graveyard. You will find here some of the best restaurants where you can enjoy the local delicacies.
