Located at Poklonnaya Gora, the Museum of the Great Patriotic War happens to be a historical exhibition hall that was designed by one of the recognised architects of those times named Anatoly Polyansky. The construction of this exhibition hall started in 1986 and it took about 9 years to be opened to the public in the year 1995. The museum is spread over an area of about 14143 square meters housing permanent exhibits and about 5500 square meters of temporary exhibits.
