MATTHIAS CHURCH

Located right beside the Fisherman's Bastion, the church is one of the most popular places to visit in Budapest. Offering extraordinary architecture, the church offers incredible Gothic features, which sparkles before the eyes when the sun shines.

Boasting an enriching history, the church is also referred to as the Church of Our Lady. Emerging as a prominent landmark on Castle Hill, the church has witnessed a varied historical event, such as the coronation of King Charles I. At present, there are free organ concerts held on Sunday evenings.
