The excavations at this site reveals that Lothal town was earlier subdivided into two parts including upper part and lower part. The city was replete with well-built roads, scientific drainage systems, and double-storied houses. Lothal also houses a beautiful museum established in 1976, which has three galleries which showcase a plethora of objects including painted pottery, beads, jewelry, and toy bullock carts. Additionally, you can also find several seals from Bahrain, Egyptian objects, and terracotta figures from Sumeria.
