How To Reach

Kulosaari is an island located in East Helsinki, in the Uusimaa region.

• By Car: Kulosaari is approximately 6 km from Helsinki city center. The drive takes about 15 minutes via Route 170 (Länsiväylä).
• By Bus: Take a bus to Tupasaarentie stop, which is 110 metres from Kulosaari’s central spots. Buses 16, 500, 510, 81, 86N, 85N, 87N, 90A, 90N, and 92N serve this stop. The 94N is the first bus to Kulosaari, stopping nearby at 4:56 AM, while 92N is the last bus, stopping at about 2. From Tupasaarentie, it’s a 2-minute walk to the island.
• By Train/Metro: Take the metro M1 or M2 to Kulosaari station, which is about 400 metres from the island’s main areas. The M2 is the first metro to Kulosaari, stopping nearby at 5:05 AM. The M1 is the last metro to Kulosaari, stopping at 11:52 PM. It’s a 5-minute walk from the metro station to Kulosaari.
• By Boat: Regular ferry services from Helsinki city centre to Kulosaari take about 20 minutes, offering a scenic trip over the Baltic Sea.
