Popularly known as the Jama Masjid, the Khairuddin Mosque is located in the heart of the city. Khairuddin Mosque was built in 1876 by Muhammad Khairuddin and is one of the top tourist places in Amritsar.
The place is of cultural, historical importance and is widely known for its architecture in the Islamic style with various inscriptions on the walls and calligraphy style writing.The mosque was once the place where Shah Attaullah Bukhari waged the war on the Britishers.

Entry Fee: There is no price to visit the Khairuddin Mosque.
Timings: Monday to Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM (It remains closed during the hours of daily Namaz).
Best time to visit: The best time to visit Khairuddin Mosque is during the month of Ramzan (May-June) as it is the holy month of the Muslims and the entire mosque and nearby places are decorated with flowers and lights.
