How To Reach

By Car: Hevossalmi is located at a distance of around 1.5 km from the city centre of Laajasalo. You can reach your destination in approximately 5 minutes via the Reiherintie/Reihersvägen and Degerövägen/Laajasuontie route. You can either book an Uber or take a local taxi which is readily available from anywhere in the town. For additional convenience, you can also rent a car and drive to Hevossalmi, on your own.

By Bus: You can also choose to reach Hevossalmi via bus, known to be a budget-friendly option. You can take Bus No. 86 from Willebrandsvägen in Laajasalo. It will take approximately 12 minutes for you to reach the destination. Remember to get off at the Hevossalmentie bus stop, from where you reach Hevossalmi via a 2-minute walk. 

Best Time To Visit

Hevossalmi is a year round attraction and can be visited any time of the year.

Best Season: Plan your visit between June and August, known for pleasant temperatures ideal for outdoor activities like boating, sightseeing, and fishing.

Best Day of the Week: If you prefer fewer crowds and peaceful visits, it's suggested that you visit during the weekdays.

Best Time of the Day: You can visit Hevossalmi in the early morning hours or during the late afternoon hours when it's the least crowded.
