The impressive Heroes Square is popularly known for its architecture and was built by Albert Schickedanz, creating the expansive Museum of Fine arts. One of the most popular attractions is the Millennium Monument which is a 36-meter column crowned by Archangel Gabriel.
It extends into a semi-circle, and between the pillars lies the status of Hungarian rulers. It is also graced by a memorial standing tall in front of the Millennium Monument.
