It was initially illustrious in which several animals and species like deer, wild pigs, and other game were kept. It was then changed into a recreational area in 1700. It is naturally spread in the midst of a long branch of trees and shrubs giving it a nice appealing view.
The Tiergarten covers 210 hectares and is a most loved spot for sailing, unwinding and strolling. The most acclaimed of the Tiergarten's landmarks is the gigantic Victory Column (Siegessaule). It is a 70-meter-tall construction delegated by an 8 meter high sculpture of Victoria made of gold.
