Ghantaghar Overview
One of the notable historical places to visit in Khandwa, Ghantaghar was constructed by the British in 1884. It was constructed over the ruins of the Haveli of Ahmad Khan Sadozai which was destroyed in the Siege of Multan and constitutes an important place in the history of Khandwa.

Ghantaghar is famous for having four 
kunds that span in the four directions around it namely Suraj kunda, Padma kund, Bhima kunda and Rameshwar kund.

The clock tower here was called Northbrook Tower named after the former viceroy of India. Later, it was renamed as Jinnah Hall after India gained independence from British rule. The place is a must-visit for all the history lovers on their visit to Khandwa.

Timings: 7 am to 12 am.
