DADA HARI VAV

If you want to get a taste of rich Gujarati architecture, look no further than this beautiful step well which stands as a remnant of Solanki style of architecture. Situated around 15 Km away from Ahmedabad, Dada Hari Vav is one of the most popular step wells in the region which was established during the Mehmud Begda era. It is shaped in the form of an octagon and has around seven levels.

Apart from serving as a water conservation source, this touristy site also forms an ideal spot to take a respite from the sultry summer heat. If you want to make the most out of your trip to this place, swarm in here in the evening when the sunset casts its golden hues over this impeccable structure. The well is located just behind the Dada Hari grave and it features three stairways which lead to its bottom.
