How To Reach

By Car: The Colorado River is located at a distance of around 285 km from the city centre of Las Vegas. You can reach the river in approximately 3 hours via the US-95 S and AZ-95 S routes. You can either take a local taxi or rent a car and enjoy a self-drive to the river. 

By Bus: There are several tour buses that run frequently from the city centre of Las Vegas to the Colorado River. On an average these tour buses take around 3-4 hours to reach the Colorado River. Additionally, you can arrange your pick-up from your hotel, any restaurant or other attractions.  

Best Time To Visit

The Colorado River is a popular attraction which can be visited throughout the year. You can plan your tour of the river between June and September which are ideal months for river rafting.  You can visit the river on the weekdays if you wish to explore more peacefully and with fewer crowds. It is advisable to visit the river during the early hours so that you will have sufficient time to explore.
