By Road: Chandanwari is located at a distance of around 83 km from the city centre of Srinagar. From Srinagar, you can take a taxi to Pahalgam which takes around 20 hours via the NH501 route. Once you reach Pahalgam, you can hire a local taxi for your final destination, Chandanwari. Outside taxis are not allowed to enter the premises of Chandanwari.
By Air: For a more luxurious experience, you can also take a helicopter from Srinagar to Pahalgam. The helipad ride not only offers stunning aerial views but also eliminates the need of a long road journey. You can either choose a one-way journey or a round trip depending upon your itinerary. Once you reach the Pahalgam helipad, you can take a short walk covering approximately 600 metres to Chandanwari.
