Carmen de la Victoria is a university residence with lush green gardens and regal rooms. It is situated in the Albaicín neighbourhood of Granada and is an ideal destination to relax, take in the beautiful views and appreciate nature. It has been acquired by the University of Granada and can be enjoyed by the public and students.

Carmen de la Victoria is a typical urban housing situated on the Cuesta de Chapíz. The University of Granada acquired it in 1945 and beautified it with Moorish decorations and somber embellishments. It was united with Carmen the Pencal, and the Arab wall of Chapiz which was built to separate both buildings.

Today it functions as a guest residence and can only be accessed by university students and professors. Rooms at Carmen de la Victoria are air-conditioned and spacious and offer splendid views of Alhambra. 

There are also verandahs and common areas where you can sit back and enjoy the scenic surroundings. The University also uses Carmen for conferences and private events. The public can stroll around its breathtaking garden and enjoy delicious meals prepared by professional chefs.
