How To Reach

1. By Car: The Beas Kund is 44 kilometres away from the heart of Kullu. Therefore, if you're driving, the NH 3 route will get you to Beas Kund in an hour.

2. By Bus: If you're arriving by bus, you can get on any bus operated by government buses and Volvo buses operated by private parties. They leave from Delhi and if you take any of the buses, you can arrive at Kullu in roughly 12 hours. From there, you can rent a private vehicle to take you to Beas Kund.

3. By Air: Kullu has an airport located 54 kilometres away from the city with only one flight that flies from New Delhi. As an alternative, the nearest airport is Chandigarh airport and from there, you can drive to Kullu and reach Beas Kund. 

4. By train: The nearest railway station is Chandigarh and you can get trains from all over the county. From the Chandigarh railways station, you can find vehicles to take you to Beas Kund.

1. Best day of the week: You can visit the Beas Kund at any day of the week as it is open throughout the year. However, we recommend visiting the Beas Kund during the weekdays as the chances of crowding is minimal and you can travel comfortably. 

2. Best time of the day: For a clear visibility of the Beas Kund and the best time to have a bath, travel to Beas Kund at any time of the day, preferably between morning to afternoon. At this time, you will get the best visibility of the Beas Kund and all the views it offers.

Visitor Tips:

1. Carry light layers of warm clothing as you will have to ascend heights going up to 12500 feet. 

2. Treks can go as long as 5 to 6 days, but you can plan for shorter alternatives too, so plan your travel accordingly. 

3. Carry enough toiletries and medicines for your trek as you will need them a lot when you trek. 

4. You can find accommodation in Kullu or Manali and both of these places are one hour away from the Beas Kund. 

5. Beas Kund has a height of up to 12500 feet, so in case you have any altitude sickness, plan your travel accordingly.
