The pair have had 2 cubs. The first one, Nuan Nuan was born in 2015 and was sent back to China in 2017. The second cub born in 2019 is still in the zoo along with its parents. How do I get to Zoo Negara?

Zoo Negara can be reached by either bus, local railway trains or by taxi.

By LRT (Local Railway Trains):

  • Take the Kelana Jaya line and alight at Wangsa Maju Station
  • Once you reach the station, a taxi can be taken to zoo Negara which is six minutes away.

By Bus:

  • Rapid KL bus 253 from Putra LRT Station and alight at the Wangsamaju stop
  • Rapid KL number 220 from Lebuh Ampang KL and alight at the Wangsamaju stop
  • Once you reach the bus stop, a taxi can be taken to the zoo which is nine minutes away.
  • If you choose to take a taxi then the operator will confirm your pickup time a day earlier by either whatsapp or email if intimated earlier. The taxi will then take you to the zoo, which is about an hour’s journey from most hotels.
