Dambulla Village Tour Itinerary

10:00 AM: A TukTuk will pick you up and take you to the start of the village tour, where you will meet your guide.
11:00 AM.: Your guide will greet you and provide a quick overview of the tour before leading you on a short stroll after which you will enjoy a bullock cart ride. You'll arrive at a magnificent lake after passing through some beautiful paddy fields and other rural sights, where you'll have an incredible traditional catamaran ride.
11:45 AM: Arrive at a rural house and proceed to a Chena cultivation.
12:15 PM: In a local house, experience a traditional live cooking demonstration followed by a traditional Sri Lankan lunch.
01:30 PM: A Tuktuk will take you back to your hotel with a wonderful bag of memories from the trip

In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.

If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellation is made between 1 days to 30 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In the event of unforeseen weather conditions, union issues, government restrictions, or any other circumstances beyond human control, certain trips or activities may be cancelled. In such cases, alternate feasible options will be provided. However, a cash refund will not be available.

Dambulla Cave temple is also known as the Golden Rock temple is also one of the world heritage city declared by UNESCO. The cave temple is made with a massive granite outcrop. The word ‘Damba’ means rock and ‘Ulla’ means fountain, hence you can see drip of water from the main house. If you have an eye for paintings then you can also see some of the historic paintings which shows the majestic manifestation of the first sermon of Buddha.
