About the Tour:

Sasaram sometimes also spelled as Sahasram, is a city in the Bihar state of India. In ancient times it was a gateway of "Vihar" to visit Gaya, Rajgir, and Nalanda area and during prehistoric period Lord Buddha has passed through this way to be enlightened with verity & wisdom under Mahabodhi tree in Gaya. Sasaram is a city in the Bhojpur region of Bihar. The town contains three tombs of Sur kings and a couple of related monuments. Sasaram lies on the Grand Trunk Road, which was constructed by Sher Shah Suri. There are also a couple of forts near Sasaram. Sasaram also has a couple of ancient Hindu Temples, an Ashokan Rock Edict, megaliths, and rock paintings.

Sasaram was the seat of Sur Dynasty, who ruled large portions of North India between 1540 - 56. The town contains three tombs of Sur kings and a couple of related monuments. The town also has a couple of ancient Hindu Temples, an Ashokan Rock Edict, megaliths and rock paintings. There are a couple of forts and many waterfalls nearby.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Patna
As per your arrival at Patna, meet and greet by our representative and then transfer to hotel for check-in.
The evening goes to Khankaye Mujeebia at Phulwari sharif, Patna.
The “Khankaye Mujeebia” found in the 18th century by Pir Mujibullah Qadri and commands a large number of devotees.
Later come back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 - Patna to Amjhar Sharif and Sasaram
Today after breakfast drive to Sasaram.
En-route visit Amjhar Sharif in Aurangabad.
This place is the chief representative of Quadri order, Syed Muhammad of Amjhar Sharif tomb is regarded as a very sacred place.
There are two trees in the garden of the complex which are believed to have grown from two saplings from middle – east country.
Later drive to Sasaram. Overnight stay in Sasaram.
Day 3 - Sasaram sightseeing
Today morning, after breakfast our driver will take you to full-day sightseeing tour of Sasaram.
Visit Sher Shah Suri Mausoleum situated in the middle of a tank which is the finest example of Pathan Architecture in India.
There are other tombs related to Hasan Khan Suri, the father of Emperor Sher Shah, Salim Shah Tomb (Sher Shah Son) and Alawal Khan Tomb.
Evening drive back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Sasaram.
Day 4 - Sasaram to Patna
The morning after breakfast move towards the fort of Sasaram.
Explore the tomb that was built in memory of Emperor Sher Shah Suri, a Pathan from Bihar who defeated the Mughal Empire and founded the Suri Empire in northern India.
Evening drive back to the Patna. Overnight stay in Patna.
Day 5 - Departure from Patna
Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and our driver will drop off you at Railway Station or Airport for your onwards journey to home/next destination.

The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests.

The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travelers will be accommodated in a property of a similar standard.

Thrillophilia reserve the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition, or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.

However, if some services are not operational due to government guidelines, thrillophilia reserves the right to replace them with other activities.

Children above 8 years of age will be considered as adults only.

There are no charges for children below 8 years of age. Extra Bed would be charged on actuals.

All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, etc. are not a part of the package.

Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package.

Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal.

Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.

Usage of the swimming pool is strictly according to government guidelines.

Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed.

Social distancing to be maintained.

Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.

ID proof is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as valid address proof.

All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details before their stay.

Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.

The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.

If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days

Booking Confirmation Policy

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
