Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Arrival in Srinagar

  On landing at the Srinagar Airport, meet our representative and get transfered to the Monalisa houseboat for a relaxing overnight stay.

• Day 2 -

  Srinagar – Sonamarg – Zozi La Pass – Drass – Kargil 200 kms

  Before starting the Srinagar to Manali motorbike expedition, take a wonderful ride on the famed Shikaras.

  Post boating on the Dal Lake, get on your bikes and move towards the scenic resort town of Sonamarg.

  From here, ride to the summit of Zoji La, and then descend to enter the Ladakh region.

  On reaching the small town of Dras, visit the Kargil War Memorial to learn some incredible facts about the 1999 battle.

  Thereafter head to Kargil for an overnight stay at the campsite.

• Day 3 -

  Kargil – Namik La – Fotu La – Lamayuru – Leh 210 kms

  The ensuing stretch of the Srinagar to Manali motorbike tour involves crossing two high-elevation mountain passes.

  First, ride across Namik La and later across Fotu La – both located at more than 12000 feet above sea level.

  Thereafter, make your way through the ancient village of Lamayuru, and visit the Monastery, Sangam (Zanskar and Indus River), Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Paththar Sahib.

  On arrival in the city, head to the overnight stay in Leh.

• Day 4 -

  Leh Local Tour

  Begin the day by exploring the area around Leh.

  This excursion will take you to Thikshey Monastery, Shanti Stupa, Shey Palace, Stok Palace and Hall of Fame.

  Stay overnight in Leh.

• Day 5 -

  Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley 140 kms

  This section of the Srinagar to Manali motorbike expedition involves undertaking a scenic and thrilling road journey to the Nubra Valley.

  The road to the valley will take you across what is claimed to be the highest drivable road on earth – Khardung La.

  Upon reaching sand dunes, one can enjoy a camel safari as an optional perk.

  Later in the day, check into a fixed camp at Hundar for overnight stay.

• Day 6 -

  Back to Leh 140 kms

  Another opportunity to ascend Khardung La comes your way, as you continue your Srinagar to Manali motorbike tour and drive back to Leh.

  Marvel the landscape similar to Grand Canyon between North Pallu and Diskit.

  Upon arriving in the city, travel to the hotel to rest at night.

• Day 7 -

  Leh – Chang La — Pangong Tso 150 kms

  Continue the Srinagar to Manali motorbike trip by riding towards Pangong Tso – an approximately 130-km long trans-boundary lake.

  On the way, ride through Chang La – a mountain pass located at an altitude of around 17590 feet.

  On reaching the shores of this enchanting waterbody, take in its beauty and tranquility, and capture photos of the realm.

  Enjoy the serenity of the lake at the 3 Idiots point. Camping in the middle of Himalayas under the cover of million stars on the shores of the beautiful lake will make for unforgettable memoirs.

  Camping will be in Spangmik village which is on the shores of Pangong lake.

• Day 8 -

  Pangong – Leh 150 kms

  On reaching Leh and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

  Stroll in the local markets near the famous Changspa and Old Fort Road and buy some peculiar handicrafts of the region before transferring to the guesthouse for a stay overnight.

• Day 9 -

  Leh – TangLang La – Moorey Plains – Pang — Sarchu 270 kms

  This is undoubtedly one of the most adventurous legs of this Srinagar to Manali motorbike tour yet.

  While driving towards Sarchu, a major halt on the famous Leh-Manali Highway.

  Cross three high mountain passes, namely Tanglang La, Lachulung La and Naki La.

  Also, enjoy driving leisurely on the approximately 40-km long Morey Plains, a flat stretch of land. Another popular site along the highway that you will go past is Pang.

  Just before Sarchu, comes a series of over 20 sharp hairpin bends and road switchbacks, known as Gata Loops.

  Conquer this section carefully, and on reaching Sarchu, enjoy your stay in tents.

• Day 10 -

  Sarchu – Baralacha la – Keylong – Rohtang – Manali 230kms

  In the last phase of the Srinagar to Manali motorbike trip, cross two more high-elevation mountain passes.

  Post breakfast ride over Baralacha La and then enter Keylong – the headquarters of the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh.

  From here, head south towards Rohtang Pass – a popular tourist destination in North India.

  As the pass is crossed, the brown landscape will suddenly become green.

  Reach Manali and spend the night in a stay and depart next morning.
