My dream came true after this amazing trekking expedition. It was my first vist in ladhak that became memorable one. Starting from Leh which was our pickup point we enjoyed a lot till we reached the summit of Kiber.

Our journey started from leh and after 70 kilometers of ride we reached to rumtse...its awesome place guys. This was my third trekking expedition in ladhak ad believe me it was out of the box experience for me.

Rumtse is nice location surrounded by Tibet, Zanskar and ladhak. Half snow covered mountains with endless arid planes is what makes Rumtseb memorable.

Our guide were really very experienced and knowledgeable who led us discover every small places like the remote villages, some monataries and temples as well. There was a river that looks magnificient, we also took a small break to explore the forest valley. There were many myths related to the ruphsu valley which we wanted to know. Trekking was moderate so suits for both mens and ladies. Our overnight camping was really memorable.

We explored all beautiful places of kiber which is an awesome place with lots of facilities, sometimes I think we should have started from kiber. While trekking we also learned about the local culture, interacted with many like minded people and visited some remote villages and this is what made our journey even more memorable.

There is some magic in the mountains of rumtse and kiber that kept us going and discovering the beauty of the area. We had gone in summer so the conditions was completely in our favour. I strongly recommend you to have a tour guide and visit the place in summer if possible.

The spectacular snow covered mountains catches our attention in rumtse. Kiber was full of tourists and i found it to be better maintained place. There were hotels, restaurants and many places to discover.

Rumtse is one of the most visited place in Ladhak which is so beautiful and can be easily identified with arid plains, snow peaks, high altitude beautiful lakes and remote villages.

i think the money spent on this trip was too much, it could have been lower so that was my complain but as a tourist or holliday destination it was awesome. There were high altitude lakes which impressed me, i wanted to spend some more time there. A lovely experience.

Thanks to the instructor who led us through the trails and mysterious ruphsu valley. Got to see some wild animals and also visited the remote villages and learned new things. A lovely holiday.
