The number of days needed to do this trek is 5. The best time to do this trek is between the months of Mid June to End of September. Lasermo La is the highest point in this trek. The highlight of this trip is visits to monasteries, high altitude passes, interacting with villagers and experiencing local life.
Our first day is spent acclimatizing in Leh. We drive to Phyang the next morning passing through several streams and beautiful landscapes. There is an alpine valley on our way to the Phyang camp. We cross Lasermo La on the first day itself. From Phyang camp we go to Lasermo high. From lasermo high we go to Stok range from where we see the Karakoram ranges. The wild flowers and high valley are also part of our trek to Laser mo high.
From here we reach Drok Yokma which is at 4200 m. From there we arrive at Hunder drok where we spend an entire day strolling across the pastures and enjoying the sight of the glaciel melt. After spending a day here we drive to Hunder and visit its very famous village. We spend a good day trekking across forest valleys, steep hillsides, the mountain ranges and end the day camping in the grove of willows.

Thank god we did carry cameras with us. in the beginning we did not expected the place to be so beautiful but indeed it was. We were surprised to see such an awesome views from the summit. Moreover i was quite impressed by the management, our accommodation in Guest House in Padum and Hotel in Kargil with all meals was next to perfect. A wonderful experience for me.

It was a great trip with my bunch of crazy friends last year!!! Camping was just awesome and trekking was little bit though . Watching those wild flowers and high valley was also the part of our trek.

Watching the Karakoram ranges from the stock ranges was an awesome feeling for me. Apart from trekking points there are certain peak points which was also one of the beautiful attraction which is worth visiting place. The highest point is laser mo which is quite an interesting place to visit.

My money spent on this trip was totally worth it to visit such amazing place. But I was little dissapointed by the lack of cellular networks there.The Phyang is a wonderful place guys...dont miss out anything there.

Only one suggestion that carry all necessary stuffs before starting the adventure. Since our guide were really very experienced and knowledgeable who led us to all beautiful places nearby.

There was a connectivity problem when we were in camps but except that everythimg was just fine. We left for Phyang early in morning and did some sightseeing there, it was a good feeling for us.

My first trekking expedition was with my college friends so it beacame even more memorable. The monastaries are the most beautiful attraction of the point. Visiting the highest Lasermo La was intersting for me. Overall it was nice trip.
