Know Before You Go

  • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered a valid address proof.
  • All international participants will have to share passport and visa details on arrival.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items in the hotel will be charged at actuals.

  • Bring a portable charger for your devices, as power outlets may be scarce. Carry an adapter for Type A or Type B sockets.
  • Remove your shoes when entering someone's house, traditional house or a temple in Japan.
  • Always remember not to leave chopsticks upright in a bowl of rice, as it's considered disrespectful.
  • It's not customary to leave a tip for your server in Japan, as tipping isn't a standard practice in restaurants here.
  • Using your phone for calls during a train or bus journey is considered inappropriate etiquette in Japan.
