Finally, I reached Gokarna. It has been so long that I was pestering my bestie to come with me to Gokarna and only in the last month she was free and we arranged this trip through Thrillophilia. Trekking was really easy as there were not many obstacles and steps. But the wilderness was a bit tough. But the guides with us were really helpful and they knew each nook and corner of Gokarna. But I did not find the accommodation fine. Congested room and that was the only defect I found in the whole trip. Families can also go for this trekking trip since there are not many difficult levels to cross.

It was a fine trek not so challenging but fun filled. Less people in the group and the beach was not so crowded. Best time to relax is during sunset. A happy trip.

Kodachadri is simply awesome with a lot of greenery around. The trip was finely arranged except the confusion regarding transportation, which was supposed to be delayed for an hour, but the supplier was good enough to inform us in the afternoon only regarding the delay, except that, the trip was really fun filled.

There is no other trek in India which is equal to Pin Parvathi trek- this is what I felt. It is such a brilliant place with a lot of sightseeing options too. Indeed, this trek is moderate at some places but challenging at some other regions. But for sure, everyone can enjoy walking along the meadows and reaching the top of Pin Parvathi. To look from the top to the surrounding would be the appreciable thing everyone will love to do. I don’t have any complaints regarding the trip since this is not the first time I am going for trekking and camping. Usual camping and trekking will have a lot of problems due to the unorganized planning and all. But here, the organizers I chose were experienced and they knew the place very well. Hence the plan was actually perfect, I felt. I did not ask for anything since they gave everything on time. But during camping, there was a problem of space chosen by the organizers. It was not so fine for many of us in the group. Since I was a solo traveler, I was completely aware of the problems that can come during such trips. We had to wait for a long time in order to find another suitable place. But I don’t think it was the misbehavior from the organizers. That place was actually a camping place for a long time but now it is not actually apt for camping. Also, one small group of people who were camping near to us were playing music loudly and making so much noise after the restricted time and that made us irritated and we had to have a small argument with them. Apart from that, the whole trip was full of high energy and enthusiasm. Luckily, the group I got were full of youngsters who are regular trekkers and travelers and it was a great chance for me to make new friends and know more about the places I have not visited yet. Parvati River is the most stunning attraction I found here. It is supported by extensive meadows and forests all over. That is the prettiest photographic location I found during the trek. Since there were correct gaps between treks, I was completely energetic to do trekking. On the days of rest, I went out to stroll around the places nearby and met some of the village people and asked them about their culture. Totally, Pin Parvati trek was the wonderful thing happened in my life last year. I am eagerly waiting for finishing the major treks in North India with two years coming.

Watching the snow clad peaks in the Himalayan ranges was one of my long time wishes and finally I achieved it by choosing Stok Kangri trek. It is a marvelous place in Ladakh region with a lot of challenging routes to be covered. The snow clad peaks were standing tall throughout the way to Stok Kangri. When I searched about this trek, I got to know that I should be physically fit. I started preparing one month before the trek. I was really excited to be in the group. We five friends booked through an agent. They arranged the trip very well with quality food and accommodation. Camping was absolutely fine. It was cold in the surrounding but the stay was fine. The ridges and the steep climbs gave us many challenges than expected. But still I was happy to accept those stringent conditions as the sights were beyond imagination. I was feeling sick when the high altitudes were conquered but somehow I managed to come out of the sickness in one day and continued with complete energy. The guides were well informed and experienced so that the journey was smooth and devoid of many difficulties. My friends also loved the trip. We have moved through many villages and met so many lovable people around. We had food from one of the houses in the village on one day and it was so tasty. Then we have walked through the town of Leh as well to know more about its local life. There is no other way than walking through these places which help us to enjoy the beauty of each location.

I am a big fan of adventure activities. Trekking to the Himalayas was a wish of mine for long time. I started achieving it with a trekking trip to Dayara Bugyal. Very romantic place it is. A lot of greenery and pleasant meadows everywhere. One week during October, I chose to partake in this trekking. The place is located at a great height and the views are really soothing. I had the best experience. A lot of people have been there doing camping, trekking and other adventure activities. Tents were there at different places. I went to a lot of hills and high places and took photographs of the greenery present around the place. Photographers will love this place. Due to the presence of alpine forests, tall trees, meadows, Dayara Bugyal looks so amazing. There is no replacement for this place ever. I met one couple who was from South India and this was the first ever trip to North India for them. When I talked to them, they told me they never expected such beauty here. Yes, it is a different location to spend time in the middle of rejuvenating nature without losing anything. Long treks made my days special and all the locations I have trekked through are clearly in my mind still without fading. Our mind and soul become purified and relaxed completely.

Tungnath temple is famous all over India and I was more eager to see the Himalayan peaks covered by snow. I and some of my friends planned to book a tour through one of the tour vendors we knew for a long time. He arranged a four day tour to Tungnath and other nearby places. I expected it to be a holy or pilgrimage but to my surprise it was filled with fun and entertainment. The trekking through the rough roads was unexpectedly exciting. My friends also enjoyed it very well. Tough it was at times. But I suggest all my friends who love adventure should go there and find yourself exhilarated. If it is raining, then it will be somewhat difficult. September, October time is the best. We went during the rainy season. So most of the times, it was raining. But it did not let us feel bad. We climbed the hills in that rain and it was challenging, some roads were slippery. When we reached the temple, we saw a lot of people who are from the different parts of the country, swamis, etc. The rituals in the temple were in the evening but we reached there in the afternoon. Still we thought, we will wait for some more time and watch the rituals. Also, I should comment about the accommodation arranged by them. It was better than I expected. Except the cold at night, the climate was fine to do the adventure activities. Rain made it more challenging but with complete thrill.

A trip to Chandrashila was a dream for me. I had the best time at Tunganath and Chandrashila. I booked the trip through Thrillophilia. The people helped me a lot to understand the trip details. Then I got a call from the service providers as well. They were helping me well. I joined the group at Haridwar and from then on the trip was mind blowing. The group was small with five to six people. But all of us became friends in no time. We helped each other whenever we needed something. The Holy Ganges was flowing with mighty power and I enjoyed the beauty of the river throughout the drive. A lot of people were on the roadside and many vehicles were going in front of us. The trek was challenging at many places. We have gone through forest ranges, natural routes etc. The stay at Chopta was comparatively good. The serenity was so awesome and cold at night. There was a campfire too arranged by the guides. Tungnath temple was more beautiful than I expected. The route to the temple was full of exciting. Surroundings were fully covered with peaks and mountains. Looked so amazing. The driver came with us was an expert in driving along that route so that we did not feel any difficulty. But the hikes were challenging. Stay also was challenging due to the climate outside. Due to the cold climate, I got fever and had to take some medicines before the third day of the trip. I was happy otherwise with the service provided. It is a budgeted trip for four day and I think you all will enjoy it.

I and my family planned a trip to the Valley of Flowers when I found it interesting and beautiful from different photos and websites. I got more information from one of my friends who visited the valley and other regions in the Himalayas before. With the confidence he gave me, I told my family also that we were going. With the help of that friend, I booked the tour for 6 days. The organizers helped a lot from the start to the end. Since my kids were of 12 years and 14 years, I did not want them to exert a lot while trekking so that I asked the organizers to let them travel in the car given by them. But they were happy to trek along with us. We went to the Valley of Flowers through Devprayag and Ghangria. Such a beauty. My wife liked the natural beauty. In between we found a confluence of two rivers. We spend some time watching it. A refreshing place. Valley of flowers is amazing. We were at a height of 3858 meters. The views from the top of the valley was really stunning. My family was experiencing something like that for the first time, hence I was also happy. The guides were giving us some snacks and water during the trekking time. They were really co-operative. In the group there was an old couple too. They were taking care of them very well. I am thankful to my friend for arranging this trip. We are planning to do another trip to the Himalayas when my kids get vacation.

I booked this package through Thrillophilia last year but I was delayed to write something about it on the site due to several reasons. But I think, it is the right time to write about that trip which helped to escape into the pure form of nature except the daily city life. It was a great revelation for me. I booked the join a group tour package and was really excited to be a part of the team. I was communicated well by the organizers and the service providers. Hence there was no confusion regarding the tour. But still, I continued to contact the team guides and officials on a regular basis till the date of my tour arrived. Valley of Flowers offered a lot of perks in terms of sights. I went during October-November season and the cold climate was started to spread around the valley. Since the organizers have given me a proper list of things to be carried, I was prepared to prevent the cold. The road trip through Haridwar to Devprayag was quite long and finally, I was really tired. And when I got to know that the next day onward the trekking will be happening, I became really excited. If you keep your body hydrated throughout the routes, you will be able to stop getting tired to certain extent. The trek to Valley of Flowers was the most exciting. The altitude was really great and the flower bed in the valley makes our eyes glitter. Nature lovers and photographers can enjoy the beauty of this place thoroughly. People were really eager to take selfies and photographs with the flowers in the background. I was also not different. By the end of the last day, my feet were really paining and I was tired. But the images of the valley of flowers were roaming around my head. So I was feeling quite happy. If you have a group of friends to do the trekking, the adventure level will be less I guess.

Adventure is hidden throughout the ways to Bhrigu Lake and Beas Kund. It was short trip for us. Just four days but we had the maximum fun. We went through Thrillophilia.com and they helped us enjoy the trip even though we selected only four days. The accommodation and food were better than we expected. Last time when we went to Kashmir, the food was really bad. But this one was fine. We are thankful to the guides who came with us. We are from South India and Hindi is not so good. But we could communicate with the guides well. All of them were Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. But we became close within a short time. There were not many people in the group. Since we booked only for four days, we were asked to join them from the second day of the original trip and on the fourth day we visited Beas Kund together and the other group was taken again back to continue the trip. We are very thankful to them for co-operating with us throughout the trip. If we had more time, we would have continued the trip. Unfortunately, we got only four days. We will be booking through the same platform next time also as we are very happy with the service we got from the time of booking the package to the end day of the trip.

My second trip to Himachal Pradesh was the one I did last October with my family. First time, I went to Kullu and Manali and we could do nothing as adventure. So this time we decided to do something really adventurous. Trekking was one of them and also we did paragliding. Trekking was amazing. Firstly, we did trekking to Kareri Lake and that was the major item in the package. A real beauty is the lake as well as the nature existing on its sides. The trek involved many paths to be covered, through small streams, rivers, rock structures, forests, hills and what not. Near the lake also, there are huge rocks and stones. They add more beauty to the environment. The lake is located at a great height. The mountain ranges become more visible from the top. White colour portions with a mix of green. A grandeur. Kareri Lake is looks so fresh and neat. People from different parts of the world were there doing trekking. There were a lot of camp stations near the place. At the base points and other regions close to the lake. Full of tents. We hardly found some locals. The place is dominated by tourists, especially backpackers. But to be honest, the trekking trip to Kareri Lake is one of the amazing treks anyone will enjoy in Himachal Pradesh.

Though we are familiar with the beauty of Kashmir from pictures and stories, watching them with the naked eyes was really exciting for me. I am not a regular traveler type but I like traveling. Last time, when I got one long weekend, I took three more days leave and went to Kashmir. Dal Lake, Vishansar Lake and one more lake were there in the package. We trekked to these places and many of the climbs were tough for me. I was feeling the adrenaline rush in me when I was looking from the top of a hill to the valleys down. But I should agree to a fact that, the entire location is a fairy tale kind of place. I was wondered to see the glittering mountain ranges and the utmost beauty prevailing in each village. Dal Lake was the most beautiful attraction in the whole region, I felt. Such an extensive lake with a lot of traditional boats decorated with flowers. That sight was really appreciable from the shores. We stayed in one of the hotels in Leh watching the nearby areas from the windows and the next days, we visited the monasteries located near to Leh. From Srinagar, we went to Sonamarg also. The availability of food was limited during the trekking trip to Sonamarg and the walking along the Sindh River was captivating. The river looked so pretty with many trees on its either side. Vishansar Lake is another bundle of beauty with full of flowers and green meadows around. There are a lot of hilly regions near to it. They make the lake so amazing in the middle. No doubt why people call Kashmir the paradise on Earth. Such beautiful places are not existing in any parts of the world.

Kashmir Great Lakes trek was something beyond our expectations. I and my husband were going to visit Leh and other major parts in Kashmir. Two days in between, we have done the Great Lakes trekking as well. It was so amazing and the mountain ranges, rough valleys, tall trees, the villages were all looking so incredible. The blue, green lakes in the centre of the mountains had some extra ordinary charm, I felt. The trekking towards the Great Lakes were through some of the pine forests and along many streams and rivers. Some of the roads were really tough. We went alone, so that we found it difficult to reach the destination easily. But some travelers who were going after the activity helped us take the easiest routes. There was no shops or houses near the lakes but you have to come walking a lot to a stop where you can get some water at least. Hence, you should carry some water with you along with biscuits or energy bars. Camping was also done somewhere near and the night picture was superb. The wind was cold though it was not the time of an extreme climate. Dal Lake was also an amusement for us. We did a shikara ride along the lake and mind blowing it was. Overall, the trip was filled with pure joy. We continued to visit the other places near Kashmir.

It was a dream come true for me and some of my friends. We have been planning a trek to Sikkim for a long time. We are a group of all girls and we were looking for some packages only for women. But we did not get many options. Finally we decided to book a tour package with other people also. But it went well. We did not face any trouble during the whole trip and very much thankful to all the people came with us and the guides. There was a woman manager too in the group since we were in the trip. Sikkim is a treasure house. It has everything for any age group. The trek was simply amazing. We were so excited and the routes were challenging. Our parents were asking how can we do trekking all alone. But I think, Kanchendzonga and other mountains in Sikkim do not have such variations as boys or girls. It was welcoming from the starting point to the end. Guys, the views from the top were extra ordinary. What we can see are long stretches of mountains and the snow cladding peak tops. The sunrise views were omg extremely astounding. The peaks were glittering in the first rays and it is the most scenic sight. We found yaks too. I was seeing yaks for the first time. They are so cute. Gentle too. But was scared to touch and pamper. What if they do not like us. They were roaming around freely. We were slow at many points since the routes were not so smooth but challenging too. So we had to stop in between, hydrate ourselves and continue. So according to the schedule we could not finish the trek also the last day was a little messed up. We could not explore the places as we discussed earlier but we did not feel it as a loss. Since all the places we saw were absolutely beautiful. We’ll plan some similar trips in the future and will head out to conquer the paths with more energy.

It was an amazing trek, worth spending money. Sikkim is a small state but with plenty of things to be seen. Kanchenjunga Mountain is a remarkable beauty. It is completely covered with snow. When we went, it was just the starting of winter, still the area began to be white. I am thankful to the entire team for making the trip fun filled and exciting. We never felt that the routes were so tricky or difficult to be covered. The guide was also very enthusiastic throughout the trek though he was going through the same routes for many years now. But he managed the group so well and was taking care of everything from the beginning to the end with utmost sincerity. The lake we saw on the way was the highlight of the trip I guess. It was so amazing to see. The water so clear and the environment was pretty. I don’t think there was anything bad throughout the trip. None in our group had any kind of bad feeling or experience as far as I know. Moreover, everyone was enjoying it too. Helping each other, sharing food, telling stories and so on. Kanchenjunga trek is a challenging trek and if it is winter, then the difficulty level will be increased. Still, it is very exciting to go along the narrow pathways and the rugged ways to reach the top of many hills and mountains. We felt so special and this trek will be close to our heart forever. Sikkim is a place which can be travelled in one week I think and all the places are very clean and maintained so well by the locals. Very beautiful.

What I liked about this whole trek is the challenging routes and the jeep drive through some routes. It was not hard to climb the hills up yet demanding high energy. Every day we trekked around 5 hours average. Every place was showing us different images. I did not find any single place that was behind the expected level of beauty. Like the photographs of the Himalayas, Bhrigu Lake and the villages around it are well maintained and properly arranged. There were many groups who were camping when we reached the base points. I think all of them were coming through other agents and tour organizers. With our group, there was a tour guide and a cook and also one team manager. All of them were behaving so nicely with us. Unlike other Himalayan regions, Bhrigu Lake had something special I felt. May be the natural trails that led to the top. I don’t know exactly. It is a large lake with beautiful surroundings. It is located in a secluded region and heard that during winter, it will be covered by snow and that sight is the most interesting one too. But we went during June and there was rain also sometimes. But the trek was really exciting. We found a lot of cattle also grazing on the sideways of the lake. One shepherd was with those flocks. The green meadows and the large pine forests were adding so much charm to the whole region. The villages are small and the houses are also small. But all were beautifully constructed. The locals seemed to be very familiar with the tourists. They were involved in their daily activities. But near the lake only tourists were found. One or two shepherds too. Other than that local people were not there. I think, this is a beautiful trek that can be done with family and friends. I have gone with my family. Some portions might be difficult for kids and old people. Yet it is one of the must visit places in the Himalayas.

Streams, temples, uneven roads, mountain peaks, lakes and what not; the natural sights on the way to Bhrigu Lake are beyond just beautiful. My trip to Bhrigu Lake was extremely splendid. It showed me the abundant nature. It is full of greenery all around and the fresh atmosphere kept me linked to it throughout my trip. I never imagined my Bhrigu Lake trip would be that awesome. The temple we visited during the trekking trip were the major ones in the area. A lot of people come there every day. The rituals are also slightly different from what I have seen until then. The trek was going through many different routes. We went through two three small stream as well as meadows. Bhrigu Lake is a real beauty. Its surroundings are also quite marvelous. I was extremely happy to be at the place. Strolled around for a long time. An awesome space for family picnic and all. There were a lot of people from foreign countries too. OMG, the place is so beautiful. I don’t have words to describe it. Camping was done at Rohlikohli. It was also good. Not much difficulties or problem arrived. Peaceful serenity except the noise of the night creatures. The lake was also silent. Moonlight was dim that day. But still the outside of the tent looked amazing. For a long trip to the Himalayas should include Bhrigu Lake as well since it is one of the best scenic places apt for nature photography.

It was the most fun trek for all of us. This trek was an easy one I would say. I along with my three friends went on this trek and it was really exciting. Everything was very well arranged for us. Our guide was very friendly and was helping us during our trek. We also enjoyed some delicious vegetarian food during the trek. For the best adventure visit this fort during the monsoons you will definitely loved the view. And most of the entire price for this whole trek was also reasonable.

Decent location for a fairly short but uphill trek. No Especially pleasant in the monsoons although expect a crowd on Sundays and holidays. It does not take much time to reach the fort from the base. Feel the thrill as you climb the rocky lanes. The weather is simply awesome. Nature at its best. Overall it was a great experience for a 1 day trek.

I was looking a break this weekend when I saw this amazing trek to Rajmachi and Kondane Caves. I have always wished to spend some time with nature and its greenery. This was the perfect trip for that. It was very well organized. I had some of the best times of my life. The food, accommodation was average. The best part was the view which was quite an amazing sight.

The trek to this fort was one of the best. This fort is noted for the large doors, blending past glory and adventure wonderfully. Amazing adventure. It was at a very beautiful location. There was a lake nearby which makes this place more beautiful. Views of the lake, Pawna Dam and Tung, Lohagad and Visapurgad from atop the fort make this an ideal soulful retreat. As for the tour operator everything was very well organized for us. We didn’t have the least trouble on anything. Thank you so much for making our trek a memorable one.

Best trek ever. I was looking for some difficult trek where there are of challenging. I cannot altogether consider this trek as a challenging one but it was really great. The scenic views were killing ones, the greenery, the heights and the distant mountains were so beckoning. We were picked up at around 12:00 AM on Sunday. We also enjoyed some basic veg food during the trek.
