Pushkar Camel Fair Adventure Festival 2022

 Rated : 4.0

The quaint city of pushkar indeed has a beautiful charm of its own. I feel extremely fortunate to have visited this city through thrilophillia, especially at this time of the year when this otherwise quiet city comes to life. Pushkar fair was an experience to remember. The vibrant colours of the traditional dresses donned by the locals and the that of the accessories of the camels were nothing short of a delight. The warm welcome that we received from the resort staff contributed in making our stay a pleasant one. However, I felt that the food could have been much better. The adventure activities that were a part of the trip made our trip much more memorable. Camel safari on the sands of the Thar desert , quad biking and para motoring did not fail to give us a gush of adrenaline. I would like to mention one incident over here. When we reached the adventure site, we were informed that the pilot who was supposed to conduct the paragliding activity for us had to rush home for an emergency. The staff then arranged the para motoring activity on the spot and did not charge a single penny extra from us even though the latter was costlier than what we had paid. We also had a wonderful time shopping for lovely dupattas and saris in the streets of pushkar, visiting the only brahma temple in the world, being a part of the nagada event, interacting with locals, witnessing the traditional Rajasthan dance by school girls and the work of a skilled sand artist. We made memories to be cherished forever. It is a must have experience of a lifetime.

It was an amazing experience for us on the Heritage Wine Tour. To see the vineyards, to understand the seemingly simple but intrinsic process of wine making at the factory and to taste the wines (the right way ) was really an eye opener. I realized I have been doing it all wrong from holding the glass to gulping the wine down. The guide really changed my perspective about wines and I really enjoyed the process of feeling the aromas and tasting the wine the right way. (Believe me, it tastes really different and divine when done correctly). Though we were little worried about the kids feeling bored, they also had a blast ( a tractor in the farm and kids are set for a wild ride!). They also had a small kids play area and a basket ball court and a homely restaurant . Overall its a cute little place where you can easily spend half a day.

It was a nice experience. As it was first underground resort that we had visited.Ambiance is pretty good. Food was good. Can incorporate more games. Only discomfort we had was to locate the place. The Map given to us was wrong(12.8604,77.5292) it was another 7 km from this place. Please try to send accurate map. Which is (12.8000224, 77.4916839).

A fun getaway that's not too far from Bangalore. It's a unique experience I would recommend. The guide & staff were professional & the ambiance was pleasant. There's stuff for kids to do too such as the basketball court, football, trampoline, etc. Kids under 10 have free admission. The wine tasting was informational & the grape stomping was awesome! Restaurant food could have been better. The one issue I would point out was the Google Maps location provided in the confirmation email which was incorrect & caused some confusion during our drive there.

For a First time night trek cave exploration was thrilling and awesome experience but was just for 45 mts ...felt duration was less...it was very well organised though we were two ladies and all others strangers to us we felt very safe....also loved the sumptuous breakfast. Certain small hitches to be taken care like our sleeping bag was not in good condition . Otherwise overall a very memorable trek!!!

Kunti Betta Night Trek | Book Online & Get 30% off

Spending a whole night on a hilltop, away from the din and confusion of a city, is always a thrilling idea. And if you choose to conquer the slants at night, nothing can be more appealing. It may seem to be daunting and arduous at first, but believe me, it is not. I was yearning for some adventurous activity for quite a while, and since adventure sports activities does not appeal me anymore, a night trek seemed to be something I was looking for. Since night trek is something that you wouldn't prefer to do alone, I went for a night trek program organized by an adventure club, hoping that having accompaniment of people would add to the fun. It didn't turn out to be what I was expecting, for the horde was too substantial to be accommodated in the space available at the summit. The trek started with enthusiasm, members didn't hesitated to help each other. Lending your hands to pull them up, thrusting them to push them forward and quipping jokes on one another kept us going through the journey. That day the moon didn't shine, the breeze didn't blow and the clouds didn't darken the sky. The sky was clear and speckled with stars. All we could see from the capstone is the blinkering of torch lights of the people who were still struggling to make their way through the rocky passages. It was soothing, for it conjured an impression of accomplishment, a feeling of exhilaration, a sense of pride and a taste of beating others. The organizers were affable and helpful throughout the journey. Everything that could have been done to make the trek easy was done. People who needed sleeping bags were provided with. Bonfire was one thing that was very much needed and that was arranged. Breakfast couldn't have been better in place like Pandavapur. Water sports activity was fun to do. Overall it was a nice experience and I strongly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for any such outing, whether alone or with a group.

I visited the wineyard few days ago after reading the reviews here. The place and the tour was upto the expectation. I think the time of visit actually matters, try to go there during the harvesting season march-april. Wine tasting is also included in the package and they not only offered us 5 different varieties of wine but also explained the art of wine tasting. I had expected the package would include foot crushing of the grapes but that is not an option here. But overall, the experience was good.

The organizer and trip to Coorg was excellent. The food was very nice with both veg and non-veg items. TRekking, Visit to waterfall and Golden temple was refreshing. Organizer and team were really supportive in the trip. Homestay location and room were fine but the washroom were all indian style. I will definitely go with the organizer for my next visit to coorg.

The night terk to Kunti Betta was absolutely amazing. The organizaer swamy called up to confirm the pck up point and also called up again 1 hour in advance to check on me. The point pick up was almost on time with a few minutes delay, ofcourse owing to traffic. I didn't expect the travel to the location to take 5 hours, but apart from that and the noisy group of hikers who sang antakshri in voices that were beyond listenable, the travel was great with the organizers introducing our guides nicely. Thre trek was everything it was reviewed to be and I'm still not sure on the exact distance we've trekked upwards, but it was almost 45 minutes (we were seasoned trekkers and moved rather quickly). There were several other trekking parties apart from us and the top was breath-taking. The trek down was quicker and apart from the human traffic jam that started on the top, it was great. We asked the guides to show us a quicker way down and it definitely was a more adventurous one. Kayaking was a waste and seemed anything but adventurous after a trek that was plain awesome. Breakfast was superb, especially the banana kesari-bhat, didn't mind having seconds of that. All in all, it was awesome and I am browsing for a tougher one for my next one... Cheers to Thrillophilia for an awesome experience!

We, a family of 4 adults and 4 kids (between 5 - 11 yrs) went for a day out on 10th Feb2018. The place was very neat and tidy everywhere, totally managed by the vendor who are doing a great job overall and were very courteous. Once we were nearby we were rightly advised on the directions. So, we could reach the place without much delay. Breakfast was elaborate and taste was regular (not awesome but not bad either). Soon, we were advised to finish rappellling followed by water/mud activities and zipline. For beginners like all of us, Rappelling was a thrilling chest thumping experience. Then the water/mud activities were good entertainment for kids and us to spend funny time together. We enjoyed the zipline into water and then kayaking and boating. The only set back was that there are not enough people as necessary when there are multiple groups. Hence, we were totally dependent on few guides who had to take us back to the venue (very far from boating area) for lunch on a motor boat and there the waiting was nearly an hour. The lunch was again elaborate and regular. As it was hot, we didn't choose to trek and preferred the water activities that kids usually enjoy. Then we did some dry rope activities and had evening snacks (chilli bajji could have been spicy, we found it bland) while enjoying the sunset by the lake which was very very awesome. The place was very very soothing and worth a visit. The only suggestion I have is that it can be more professionally managed and should have one dedicated guide for one group from beginning till end so that we do not have to follow up with them what to do when etc time to time. Overall, we had a very memorable experience and we thank the vendor and Thrillophilia for it.

This desert safari package was a ton of fun, and good value for money as well. When we were driving out to the campsite from Jaisalmer (around a 45 minute drive), much of the other campsites we saw didn't have any actual sand dunes, however this campsite was right at the foot of the dunes. The facilities were really nice, and there was hot water in the bathroom, however it only came out of the lower spout, so you had to take a bucket shower. The food we were served was really good as well, and I especially enjoyed the chai. The camel safari was incredible, and we were able to walk across the dunes on our camels just in time to watch the sunset. A jeep safari isn't included, but you can also get that experience at an additional Rs. 1500/jeep for 20-25 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience, but it was a little marred by the lack of transparency and coordination. While the description of the experience says you reach the campsite by jeep, that isn't actually included in the package, and you have to get transportation yourself at an extra ~Rs. 2000. Additionally, when we were trying to leave the next day upon completion of the experience, we had to wait 2.5 hours for the jeep to come pick us up. However, the owner Kundan was really helpful, and let us leave our bags in his restaurant for the day upon return to Jaisalmer. Additionally, one of his employees, Madan, was extremely nice and helpful as well.

Experience which I will cherish for my lifetime. My visit to scuba diving island was among one of my best outings compared to my other outings. But this could be not possible because of seawater sports, they provide excellent facilities with affordable price packages. I will recommend you all if you planning your trip to goa go through seawater activity.
