Our pick up was a bit late which agitated both of us a bit but the smiling face and the apologetic attitude of our driver cum guide Appu cooled us off. Our hotel stays were pretty and perfect, it actually felt so special to receive such lovely gestures from the staff. All the locations looked so romantic to us that we even asked our guide to click us in the Titanic pose. Overall, It was a memorable honeymoon.

Umiam lake viewpoint was a refreshing location. Couldn’t see all the seven waterfalls at seven sister’s fall, clouds made it more difficult to spot. Cherrapunji sightseeing especially Dawki and Mawlynnong were the best features of this tour. Safari in Kaziranga was fun too. All in all a good escape into the wild.

Northeast is quite an impressive place. I went with my family and were really worried about how the package will turn out to be. As we were driven from the Airport, our first stop was the famous Kamkhya temple, I read so much about it that it on a hilltop and really old but the place was so crowded that we just planned on skipping it. My mother was a bit disappointed but none of us wanted to be a part of the horde. Overall, the tour was great for photography, Dawki, Double-decker bridge and Nohkalikai falls were few of my favourite sightseeing points.

Great hospitality and a memorable trip. Northeast really is an underrated region when it comes to tourism, we were missing on so much until we hit this tour.

Went with my family this summer and experienced a pleasant weather. Cherrapunji is certainly the greenest and wettest place in India. The early monsoon showers drenched us on multiple occasions and my brother actually caught a cold. However, the hotel we were staying in had heaters in their rooms (on request) and geyser, so the well-equipped hotel saved us. Keep raincoats with you if you are travelling anytime between March to September. All in all, you will love the places.

Most of the waterfalls we visited on this tour were quite dry and we couldn’t see much volume of water, maybe because we visited in the summer months. However, the unique Khasi food items, our driver Debojeet was a migrant from Bengal yet he knew every nook and corner of the region and the beautiful Khasi villages and landscape took my heart. Special thanks to Thrillophilia for curating such a nice itinerary where we had enough breaks and more than enough adventure on this four-day-long tour. A hearty thanks, guys!

Reaching the viewpoint of Nohkalikai falls in Cherrapunji took more than 10 minutes but the magic of the majestic fall can never be described in words. One of the best trips of my life. Northeast is the true beauty of India

Almost all the locations need a mention here, right from the placid Umiam lake to the rainbow falls in Nongriat, Mawlynnong village-the cleanest village of Asia deserves special mention. If you haven’t been to Northeast India, You are missing on so much. These small states offer in abundance and every time we had a new surprise traversing a series of unique destinations

I went on this trip with my parents who are a bit old, however, everything was commendable but we had to trek to reach the most of the locations like Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai cave, Shillong peak etc. I had no problem in walking uphill but my parents were exhausted. The best part of this tour is the drive from Guwahati to Shillong which almost took 3 hours. It was drizzling throughout the twisty drive, I am glad the weather on the next day was clear when we visited most of the locations. Every place will lure you into clicking a million pictures. Totally loved every bit of this tour!

Everything was good but our timing was wrong, we went during monsoon, so most of the locations weren’t that accessible but we saw a triple-arched rainbow at Nohkalikai falls.

We had to walk a bit to see the grand Nohkalikai fall but was really a sight. The overall tour had actually a lot to see.

Guhantara resort is a great place to spend your day with friends or family. The activities are very good as well. You can enjoy a thrilling game with your dear ones or get a relaxing massage. There are a variety of Ayurvedic massages to pamper yourself with. The food here (veg , non-veg) is quite yum. Destress yourself in the rain dance. Even though the dance floor is overcrowded it is worth the try. In short great place to spend your weekend or a day off.

This place is very good for a day outing, and is very close to Bangalore city, just a little outside of all the noise and traffic. We went there for a family day out & it was overall a very enjoyable experience. The food is very good especially, the buffet spread had items much better than I expected. There is also enough place for the kids to run around & have fun. One thing which could be better is the indoor games area, which is a little small & there is no indoor badminton court un-like some of the other resorts in this segment. Overall it is a good place to spend a day!

I had my parents over for the first time in Bangalore and they told that they wanted to see coffee plantations. So I decided to take turn to Chikmagalur. I decided that the best idea would be to stay in coffee estate itself...I came across tan wood homestay and setting the reviews I booked it. I must say that the fresh entry through the coffee plantations made it worth the money. And the nice cottages with high roofs and glass windows were the cherry on the cake. The care taker Lokesh and his wife cooked very homely and tasty food with less oil and spices ( as requested). He also arranged for bonfire at night and I could play ludo with my parents after ages ... Making us go back to our childhood n enjoying the stay and fresh air... I thank Asif and his friend from heart as he arranged for a cake at the last moment request for my father's birthday. Morning tea in the fresh air gave our day a fresh start. I would also mention Tiger, the cute n sweet dog who gives the perfect finish to the homestay. Neat, well maintained cottages with green everywhere made it a perfect little trip for us.

Trek to Chandrashila and Tungnath was really beautiful. I was there in the September end which means it was all green, no white. People have written amazing reviews below about the beauty of the trek which I totally agree. Although I would like to point about the things which haven't been mentioned:- a) This trek is quite different than other treks since here you will be climbing/walking on a paved stone pathway rather than a typical trek trail. b) Trek to Deoriatal on Day 2 is OKish. c) If you are looking for camping in tents under the open sky, this trek is not for you since Uttarakhand government has imposed a ban on the camping due to environmental reasons. However, the stay that Thrillohillia provided in Kund was really beautiful. It was in the middle of a Jungle right next to the bank of River Mandakini. d) Out of 4-5 day trip, you will be travelling in a bus or traveller for half of the time. In nutshell, its a good trek for the beginners. Chandrashila and Tungnath are the key highlights.

Amazing experience!!! We went out for our company team outing. The team was well received by Prasanna. We were introduced to their outdoor team leaders, as well as a person was assigned to us for team building activities. All the activities were well organized and coordinated. The food was also good, limited dishes as it was not a conventional resort. The water activities and trek were also good. To add to this, it started raining before our departure, which added to all the fun, and yes it was a relief from the scorching sun. In all I would recommend it to groups with number to plan an outing here, if you want to escape the humdrum of city.
