Khirganga is situated in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh that is located about 22 km away from the pilgrimage town of Manikaran. It was wonderful experience to pass through the dense forests and a bath in its hot springs.

Kheer Ganga lies in the extreme end of Parvati valley and the last inhibited village while trekking to pin valley via Pin-Parvati pass. The trek to Kheer Ganga was one of the most refreshing experience. Khirganga pass trek was very pleasant and offers some exhilarating views.

The hot water springs at Manikaran offer a rejuvenating feel and it was believed that a dip here had medicinal benefits. khirganga is a favourite with the hippies and it has become popular with the Israelis. There was a few restaurants that serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes of Indian.

The trek is so amazing and moderate and surrounded by thick forest of alpine meadows. It was a mesmerizing view when clouds started overlapping the forest and the snow-clad mountains. KhirGanga is known for hot water stream which flows beneath the temple of Lord Shiva. The hot water spring was clean and like a therapy.

Tosh is situated at a height of 7,874ft and leads to the beautiful Pin Parvati Pass. The average temperature here ranges between 2°C and 7°C and dips below the freezing point in winters and we started our journey in mid December that was really very chilled weather but we enjoyed so much. We had a snowfall there and enjoyed it very much. So if you are planning to go to the place in winter you should have your warm cloth.

The place was open and vibrant. After exploring the region we also trekked up to Animal Pass and found the mesmerizing views from its summit. Further we visited a lake near the pass that offers a eye capturing view of the majestic Deo Tibba Range.

The air in Khirganga is so Fresh and pure that would forget the tiredness of the trek just by dipping the body in the hot water that would make us Relax, Refresh and rejuvenate.

I love to visit the khirganga. Every turn had a different peak with a unique view and each better more majestic than the previous one and the peaks were simply spectacular. Heavy mist was enclosing the valley but the peaks were shining.

Tosh is much populated and not surrounded by thick meadows. Trekking trail passes through ranches and unorganized plantation of Marijuana. Accommodation and food options are in surplus in Tosh and are in much better shape. Distinct smell of Marijuana is the first impression of Tosh. There was a plenty of smoke joints, food joints, pizza corner, tea stalls and restaurants. But if you wished to have something Indian food then you would come in the trouble because there was difficult to get typical Indian meal but definitely get Israeli food everywhere in the village. Overall the food was tasty and yummy.

The little town of kasol in himachal pradesh is called the backpacker’s heaven! Somehow this place has not gained much popularity amongst Indians but one is to find many foreign backpackers in Kasol. Tosh is full of accommodation options. there are handful of homestays and hotels. So it was easy and comfortable to stay there and it was nice place to spend the weekend. I really enjoyed in the place with my cousin. The village was little but so beautiful and scenic.

The Sight of the Parvati Valley’s Dam was impressive. The convergence of the Tosh and Parvati River forms the basin. The tosh river was surrounded by dense pine and fir forest. On the way we may come across waterfalls that gushing down the mountain slopes. And The view from there was astonishing.
