Ombattu Gudda Trek Overview

Ombattu Gudda is one of the highest peaks of the Western Range located along the borderline of Chikmagalur and Hassan. The destination is known for its beautiful trek trail and attracts tourists every year as it only takes an overnight journey to reach Ombattu Gudda from Bangalore.

Following your early morning arrival at the basecamp in Sakleshpur. Post this, start trekking to Ombattu Gudda Trek towards the Kabbinale River. A local guide cum professional instructor will accompany you throughout, from when you witness a panoramic view of the entire hill range once you climb to the top till you trek down to the basecamp in Kalasa.

Ombattu Gudda Trek is 24 KM in the distance and a medium difficulty trek. 

Note:
Difficulty Level of Trek is difficult, therefore an individual above 15 years can book this package.
Minimum 5 people are required to book this trek.

How to reach Ombattu Gudda Trek Starting Point:
 Bangalore->Sakleshpur->Gundya check post->Ombattu Gudda.
The location is approximately 350 from Bangalore, and 145 Km from Mangalore Airport, you can easily reach by public and private transport.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

    Had fun time, the place is beautiful. But I would suggest that if any one is planning to go for a trek to Sakleshpur then take you friends as well or prefer going in a group coz that makes trekking all the more interesting. Great experience, loved it!

    The guide was friendly and kind helps us and make fun throughout the walk, we took a break and shared our packed lunch and eatables amongst us it was really a great picnic though along with many memories we capture.
