Day 1
Pickup from Chennai | Overnight Bus
  • On Friday night, you will be picked up from your choice of the pickup points in Chennai.
  • You will be beginning the experience with an ice-breaking session so you get to know your fellow travelers. Since this will be an overnight journey, you will be advised to have some light food before the journey.
Day 2
Arrive at Kurinjini Village | Trek to Central Station
  • You will arrive early in the morning at the starting point of the trek. You can freshen up and have a delicious, warm breakfast.
  • Post this, begin your 7 km trek to reach the Central Station, which will be the campsite of the day.
  • You will first arrive at a waterfall which will serve as a refreshing sight. After this halt, you will be following a small rivulet that will take you to an old coffee estate farmhouse.
  • From here the forest brightens up in color and becomes more lively with the sounds of many birds and animals who reside here. 2.5 km from the farmhouse, you will arrive at the campsite is the central station.
  • Enjoy your lunch here and explore the area around a little bit.
  • In the evening, enjoy a hot cup of tea/coffee directly from the estate, followed by dinner and overnight sleep in the cozy comfort of your tents.
Day 3
Kurinjini Top Station | Return
  • After waking up to a beautiful morning amidst the hills and the clouds, you will have your breakfast in the midst of bird calls.
  • Start the 7 km long trek to the top on zig-zagging trails on the side of a hill.
  • All the way, you will be greeted by the bird calls coming from all directions, Now will be a good time to bring out your camera and take some amazing pictures.
  • After 4 kms, you will have a small halt before the final climb. Arrive at the summit and get mesmerized by the amazing view of the hills and the clouds playing with each other.
  • Spend an amazing time here, clicking memorable pictures and finding serenity.
  • Start the downhill trek back to the village, from where you will take your transfer back to Chennai, bringing the experience to an end.
