  • Flights (international and domestic) are not part of this package.
  • Carry a valid photo ID. Foreign travelers must carry their passport as ID.

  • Follow your guide’s instructions carefully for a safe and enjoyable safari.
  • Wear comfy, lightweight clothes in neutral colors like beige, khaki, or green for safaris. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!
  • A Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory for Kenya. Vaccines for Polio, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus, Rabies, and Meningitis are also recommended.

  • Malaria is present in Kenya. Check with a doctor for necessary vaccines and medications. Wear long-sleeved, light clothes and use mosquito repellent with 50% DEET.
  • Kenya’s culture is rich and diverse. Dress modestly in rural and religious areas and always ask before taking photos of people.
  • Credit cards are accepted in cities and tourist areas, but carrying some cash is a good idea.
  • Kenya’s currency is the Kenyan Shilling (KES). Exchange money at banks or authorized exchange centers.
  • Kenya’s weather ranges from tropical to dry. Pack clothes suited to the season and region. Expect rain from April to June and October to November.
  • Drink only bottled or purified water. Avoid tap water and raw or undercooked food to stay healthy.
  • Single-use plastic bags are banned in Kenya. Pack reusable items like water bottles instead of plastic bags or bottles.
