Kalsubai Camping Itinerary

12:30 PM: Board the 11:45 AM Kasara Local Fast Train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
2:00 PM: Meet the team at the Kasara Railway Station ticket counter. (With transfers)
02:15 PM: Get on the privately booked vehicles and head Dhaba for Lunch. After quick lunch, move to Bari village, where you will be commencing your trek. It'll take approximately 2 hours to reach the village.
05:00 PM: Reach Bari, from where you can get a glimpse of Kalsubai peak rest for a while & get evening refreshment and get ready to start the trek.
06:00 PM: Gear up, pack your bags and get your shoes lace-up! It's gonna be a long and dark climb to the top. Make a few halts on the way where you can grab your snack or a drink.
08:30 PM: Reach campsite on the top of Everest of Maharashtra & witness the serenity and stunning views from the same.
09:00 PM: Prepare for a night under the sky have delicious local cuisine for dinner, play a few games, share stories, and make new friends & enjoy the starry night.
11:30 PM: Off to the tents for sound sleep (for those who are very sleepy).

06:45 AM: After spending some time at the top, start your descend to the campsite. On your way back, you will get a view of the surroundings you climbed.

Simply amazing! Ashwin and Kishore are really cool people to go on this trek with. Had a good time. If you can, go around full moon. For me the highlight was the Maggi that we had in the cold weather on our way up. Where we camped was also nice. Tip: Carry a steel bottle and refill it at resting points with lemonade.

This has got to be one of the most scenic and beautiful treks I have been on. You really feel on top of the world, as the trek takes you higher than the clouds. The stay and the food were more than what we had even expected, and we need to give a shout out to our guide, Hemanth, who was such a great leader and companion on this journey, made sure we were all comfortable, and stopped for breaks whenever it was needed!

Kalsubai is very familiar to Mumbaikars. I have gone to Kalsubai with Thrillophilia a year ago. Now again. The beauty of the place is just awesome and didn't change. The Thrillophilia representatives were there. Very jovial people. Liked the gang as well. Spectacular trip.
