Overview

The camp is nestled in Sam sand dunes, around 25 km away from the city center. This camp is known for its capacity to bring you unique experiences, charm and excitement of desert life. Settled away from city life in a calm environment, the camp brings you comfortable accommodations, especially designed while keeping modern amenities and basic necessities in mind. 

About the activity:
You have to reach the campsite before the sunset where traditional welcome with a nonalcoholic beverage will be done.  From here, you will take a camel safari in the ocean of sands while clicking pictures, watching nocturnal birds and enjoying the sun going down and night taking dawn.  After the safari, return back to the camp and enjoy the delicious Rajasthani. Post dinner, folk music, dance, the campfire will be organized. Relax at your seat and enjoy the evening. 
Give some time to yourself in gazing at the stars and bring some wonderful thoughts out of self before you dive in the sleep. Breakfast will be waiting for you the next morning in mid of the beautiful sunrise shining on your skin. 
Note- Special dates for this tour are Diwali (23 Oct to 10 Nov), New year (20 Dec to 30 Dec) and 31st Dec.

Breakfast and dinner will be served during your stay and enjoy snacks and soft drinks.

How to reach:

The campsite is located in Sam which is 40 km from Jaisalmer, you can easily reach here by public or private transport. The exact location will be disclosed after the booking for the package is confirmed.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Day 1: Traditional Welcome | Safari | Dinner

    Arrive here and get welcomed in a traditional manner (Tikka Dastori) with a beverage.

    Take camel safari to enjoy either sunset or sunrise (On 01 Camel 02 Person )

    As the evening arises, relish the refreshments.

    Be a part of Campfire and Folk cultural affairs organized at the center of the camp.

    Enjoy sumptuous Rajasthani veg buffet dinner.

    Stargaze rest of the night and sleep deep in comfortable tented stays attached with washrooms.

  • Day 2 - Day 2: Breakfast | Return back to Jaisalmer

    Wake up in mid of sunshine.

    Enjoy the breakfast in camp center.

    An incredible experience!! We did this safari in Feburary month and it was a thrilling experience. We were a couple and reached the camp by 4pm where complimentary tea and snacks were served. Tent was really spacious and quite beautiful. Bathrooms were attached. After that we did camel safari and reached sam desert. The sunset was beautiful and since it was a full moon day the entire sunset and moonrise made the evening pleasant. We reached camp by 7; 30 pm, the cultural program started and dinner was served by 9 pm. My favourite dal bati choorma was also included. We were back in our tents by 10:30 pm. The staff was very helpful. Hamje Khan our Guide was polite n humble..Next day breakfast was served and we checked out by 10am. Best Ambience. Overall it was an awesome experience and we really enjoyed this trip Thank you Thrillophilia for d Bestest Memories..

    This was more than just a stay, but a whole entire entertainment package provided at a a really great price. The tents felt more like rooms and were super comfy, the food was authentic and yummy! And we loved the end of the night cultural performance with some folk dance and music, which my kids especially enjoyed a lot! The staff were really nice to us and took care of everything we needed, which was really sweet.

    Jaisalmer is a beauty. Perfect for family trips for one day except the scorching sun during the day time. The camps were properly equipped with new beds, bedsheets, water bottles, fans, etc. The dry wind was blowing throughout but the night was colder. We met a lot of local people. Got to know about the history of Jaisalmer in detail. It is perfect if you choose an extensive Rajasthan trip. Great people. Great place. Thank you.

    We had such an interesting and unique experience here. The stay was comfortable, and we loved the camel safari where we watched one of the best sunsets ever! To top all this off we were treated to a lovely cultural folk performance! Worth every penny for sure!
