After a day of exploration, return to your hotel for the night.

Arrival at Almaty | Day at leisure

This day is about exploring Almaty. Begin your day with a visit to the Panfilov Park or the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, dedicated to the 28 soldiers who bravely fought in World War II. Walk around the park and visit the Ascension Cathedral, world's second tallest wooden church and an architectural marvel built entirely from wood.  In the evening, head to Republic Square to capture the stunning sunset views and admire the Independence Monument. Get transferred back to the hotel for the night.

Almaty City Tour

Begin your journey to Medeu, an outdoor speed skating rink. Enjoy skiing at one of the world's largest alpine skating rinks before taking scenic cable car ride to the Shymbulak Ski Resort, located at an elevation of roughly 2,200 metres above sea level. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After a day of skiing or snowboarding, relax at one of the resort's cozy cafes while enjoying local cuisine and hot beverages. Later, get transferred back to the hotel.
