The Hemkund Sahib Trek starts from Govindghat, which is about twenty-two kilometers drive from Joshimath. It is located at the height of 15201 ft above sea level and is accessible only from May to October. Hemkund Sahib trek is one of the moderate to easy treks in the Garhwal Himalayan region. The Garhwal Himalayas are magnanimous mountain ranges situated in the state of Uttarakhand. It is bounded on the east by the Kumaon region, on the north by Tibet, and on the south by Uttar Pradesh. By Bus: Haridwar can be reached easily by road from Delhi, Haryana, UP, Punjab and other parts of Uttarakhand. A number of state transport and private buses connect Haridwar with these places. Bus service is available on a frequent basis and fares are also economical. Visitors can board these buses depending upon their suitable timing.
