Trip Location: Manali

About the Activity:

  • If you have added trekking in your bucket list, please join the 5D/4N long trek to Hampta Pass and feel awesome about a beautiful expedition you have made.
  • Arrive in Manali before 06:00 AM, this beautiful city is well connected to Delhi and Chandigarh, you will be picked up and dropped off to Jagatsukh.
  • Your trekking expedition starts from Jagatsukh, reach Bhanara village, climb up to the top to see the temple of Naagdevta, Thakshak.
  • Continue your trek through apple tree covered valleys, pine forests, streams and meadows to reach Buggi, the campsite of your first day of the trek.
  • Enjoy the magnetic view of Manali and Dhauladhar range from a village called Sarouto, have a beautiful stay in Kharmandari also, snow covered frozen peaks surrounded campsite.
  • Trek to Jobri Nala from Kharmandari, after having a panoramic view of the peaks which are the treasures of the Himalayan ranges.
  • Get back to Prini or Chicoga where your trek ends and you will be transferred to Manali  in the evening after four kilometers journey from Chicoga or Prini.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Travel from Manali to Buggi

    Arrive in Manali and get transferred to Jagatsukh by car, enjoy the ride that stretches up to seven kilometers.

    Your trek starts from Jagatsukh which is at a height of 2000 meters.

    Walk along the route the beautiful village of Bhanara, one of the biggest villages in Kullu valley and when you reach the top of the village, you can see a wooden temple of Naagdevta.

    The trail extends through thick pine forests and the roads are very steep, but you may forget the tiresome trekking of the entire day.

    Reach Buggi which is the campsite, relax amidst the salubrious nature.

  • Day 2 -

    Trek to reach Sarouto

    Enjoy walking through the valleys, meadows and forests, climb above the tree line and see the beauty of streams in between the meadows.

    After you reach above the tree line, enjoy the panoramic view of Manali and Dhauladhar range.

    Overnight stay in the camps at Sarouto.

    The total distance of trekking would be 8 kilometers and the campsite is located at a height of 3380 meters.

    You have to walk for 5 to 6 hours to reach the campsite.

  • Day 3 -

    Sarouto to Kharmandari is the trek for this day

    Trek for seven kilometer to reach another beautiful spot in the Himalayas, Kharmandari that is located at a height of 3000 meters.

    From Kharmandari you can get an elaborate view of Pir Panjal range.

    Overnight stay at Kharmandari.

  • Day 4 -

    Trek from Kharmandari to Jobri

    Move ahead to another campsite in Jobri that is situated at a height of 2500 meters.

    From Kharmandari, climb up to reach other beautiful peaks and then move down to reach Jobri and then to Jobri Nala.

    Enjoy the amazing view of snow covered peaks and ranges, take rest at the campsite.

    The total distance you will trek today is 8 kilometers and it will take 4 to 5 hours.

  • Day 5 -

    From Jobri to Prini is your last day trek

    Begin trek, enjoy the sight of the dam at Jobri, Jobri Nala and head to the road that leads to Chichoga or Prini.

    After finishing your trek there you will be transferred to Manali which is about 4 kilometer away from Chichoga.

    The total distance you cover today is 10 kilometers.

    Reach Manali in the evening and carry a bag full of scintillating memories.
