Things to carry

The Gulmarg Sledge Ride operates daily from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The sledge ride lasts between 30 minutes to 1 hour, with extra time allocated for photography and videography.

The ride to Phase 1 (Kangdoori) is not included in the package. You will need to arrange a commute for the 4-kilometer uphill journey to reach Phase 1.

Visitors can reach Phase 1 (Kangdoori) by taking the gondola ride, which is available at an additional cost.

The tour operates in the months of December to April as this is the time when Gulmarg expectedly faces snowfall, creating ideal conditions for skiing.

Wear warm, comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear for the ride.

Follow the instructions provided by the operator for safety during the ride.

The consumption of alcohol or drugs is prohibited before or during the ride.

Please note that while the activity is conducted with utmost safety, Thrillophilia and/or the activity operator will not be liable for any injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods during the activity.

Please note that the activity may be cancelled due to circumstances like weather conditions, natural disasters, political disturbances, etc. In cases like these, the visitors will be offered the next best slot available.

For safety purposes, this activity is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone who has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.

Ensure you are physically fit and free from medical conditions that could affect your participation.

Gulmarg Sledge Ride Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is made 15 days or more before the date of travel, no cancellation fees will be charged.
If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In the event of unforeseen weather conditions, union issues, government restrictions, or any other circumstances beyond human control, certain trips or activities may be cancelled. In such cases, alternate feasible options will be provided. However, a cash refund will not be available.
